HISTORY OF FOOTBALL

What is Football?

Football is a household of team sports that require, to varying degrees, kicking the ball with one foot to hit the target. Unqualified, that word football is interpreted to relate to whichever king of football is the most common in the regional context at which the language looks. Sports usually named football at specific situations include union football (called football at some nations); gridiron ball (specifically American football or Canadian football); Australian rules football; rugby football (either rugby league or rugby Union); and Gaelic football. These various variants of football are called football codes.

History of Football-

In 1988, Barry Sanders set the new an permanent value for what the football player would do. He wasn't but good in the way that all Heisman award winners are good . He wasn't but electrifying in this way any going back who's greater than everyone attempting to confront him is electrifying. It's not quite just to tell Sanders pushed the boundaries of what the performer would do, because nobody else has made it or might always do it again as various variants of football  are called football codes.

First Football Club-

Since the 15th century, football clubs have existed. The Foot-Ball Club of Edinburgh was formed in 1824 and was an organized club without official status. It is difficult to decide which was the first football club because some historians suggest it was the Foot-Ball Club of Sheffield that was formed in 1855. Among professionals football clubs, the oldest one is  Notts County that was formed in 1862.

The industrialization of the US led to the formation of teams. Groups of people, such as factoryworkers, clergymen and railway workers, would meet at churches, pubs and factories. These groups formed football teams in the larger cities and later brought their popularity to other cities.

Globalization of the top sport in the world-

In the late 19th century, there were only a few national football teams. England and Scotland were two of the first to play games against each other in the 1870s. Today there are 211 national associations included in FIFA (the world governing body for the sport). Another sign of globalization could be seen in the increase of nations participating in World Cup qualifiers.
